Function
We are growing the portfolio as well as the customer base of  our Yparex® brand. Yparex® is the name of a family of grafted polyolefins that are used as tie resins and compatibilizers and coupling agents.
To strengthen the current team, The Compound Company is looking for an ambitious account manager that can further support the growth of the Yparex® business. From the start, the account manager has a key role in carrying the business and expanding our position in the market. The initial geographic focus is north-west Europe. 
 
Responsibilities include:
·       Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
·       Design and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs that expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
·       Discover and develop new customers 
·       Report customer developments, sales opportunities and forecasts to the Sales team in visit reports and at the cross-company Sales Meetings
·       Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
 
 
Structure
In this position you will report to the Commercial Director Yparex, Wouter van den Berg. You will work closely together with our customer service department in Enschede. 



Requirements
For this job we are looking for an ambitious professional who wants to develop further. 
·       Bachelors/Masters degree
·       A relevant technical background or proven affinity with the plastics industry
·       At least 3 years of experience in a business to business sales role in a relevant industry
·       Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
·       German language is a very strong preference
·       English language must be fluent
·       Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
·       Strong business sense and proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
·       Proactive and result-driven attitude
·       Willingness to travel frequently
