PT Resindo Compounding Technologies is the Indonesian joint venture (JV) that enables us to serve customers in Southeast Asia. Specifically, it provides specialty polyolefin-based compounds and composites to the region, across segments that include: automotive, roofing and flooring, wall cladding, packaging, and electrical appliances.
Resindo began operations in early 2016 in Tangerang/Jakarta as a 50/50 JV between The Compound Company and Polymindo Permata, PT: a premier provider of high-end wicker and thatch made from synthetic fibers.
In addition to providing toll compounding, Resindo produces and sells both standard and customized compounds based – as always – on customer needs, and always with an eye on safety and sustainability. Its portfolio includes halogen-free flame-retardant compounds; high-performance natural fiber-reinforced compounds, glass-fiber reinforced compounds; biopolymers; and Yparex® extrudable adhesive resins and Yparex tie-layer resins.
Ultimately, through this JV we can now access regional raw materials at source - and thus serve customers in this rapidly growing market faster and more efficiently.
